Journy to battle Sin

Serenity laughed and closed her eyes. "Good night." She said drifting off to sleep herself. The night rolled on for 3 hours and day broke. Serenity woke up first, since the warmth of the sun and its rays always wakes her up. She stood up and looked down to Daimos. "What if he tries to do the same thing?" She though. Thinking he might try to kill himself to save her. "I wont let him." She said cheerfully as she walked out the house. Moving down the walk to the road they were taking.

Daimos slowly wakes to the sun shining lightly through the holes of the ruined building. He squints slightly then looks around. "Serenity?" He slowly stands up. He picks up his swords and put them in their holsters on his side then walks out. He looks around outside then sees her standing on the road a little ways ahead. "Serenity!" He calls then trots over to her.

Serenity stops and turns around, waving. She runs up and meets you in the middle hugging and kissing you. "There you are. Finally you decided to wake up. Care to help me find something to eat?"

"Well that depends on what you have a taste for...remember, we aren't in the same place anymore, the food may be different." Daimos says as he looks around.

"I dont think it would matter as much if I am starving." Serenity was doing the same, looking around. She found a machine that had a picture of something of food. "Hey check it out. Lets see whats in it." She said grasping Daimos' hand as she ran to the machine laughing.

Daimos sighs and shakes his head as he follows after her. He then smiles and laughs slightly. They get to the machine and he inspects it thoroughly. He kneels down and looks under it. He stands back up still looking at the machine. "Well, there is food in it...but the problem is how we get it..." Serenity smashes it open in the middle of his sentence. "...out."

"Sorry, did you want to say something?" Serenity said smiling, taking out a few packages out and handing a few to Daimos. "Lets hope its good." She said opening up one of them. There was food that looked like dried fruit inside, but it tasted way different. Serenity tried one and smiled. "Its good!" she yelled halfway stuffing her face.

Daimos hesitantly takes a bite from the fruit. He then begins to quickly eat the food. He finishes it off and licks his fingers. "Well...it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be."

"I know. Guess we can't judge the future. Not can we?" Serenity said, wiping her mouth off. She stood up and looked around. "I guess we should take some of this with us in case we don't find anything on the road. The things is, though, how do we carry it all?"

Daimos grins. "Leave that to me." He waves his hand and the food is engulfed in a sphere of darkness that solidifies then disappears. "Now if we want something to eat, I'll just open the portal again and it will come to us."

"Cool, but we should start to head out. This could be a long journey a head of us." Serenity looked up at the sun and then to the road. She sighed and started to head off.

Daimos nods then looks up at the sky. "Yes...but an interesting one nonetheless...quite the pair of unlikely companions, wouldn't you say? One of light, one of dark, both working together...it's pretty funny once you think about it."

"Day and night work together. In some ways more then others. We need both to survive or we would die." Serenity looked to Daimos and smiled. "Now I am now saying we need each other or we would die. Just saying the attributes."

Daimos grins and begins walking. "We'll see."

Serenity giggled. "Yes, We'll see."

They walk out of the city gates then Daimos looks back. "Amazing that so much could happen...within the time of one night...I suppose now we'd better be trying to find a way back." He looks forward again and they leave the city, heading for the Calm Lands. They soon come to a dark cavern. They stop and Daimos looks into its wide entrance intently. "Looks like we'll have to go through here...you think you can manage that? You look a little on the jumpy side..." He grins while looking at her out of the corner of his eyes.

Serenity smiled and bumped her side into Daimos. "Oh come on Daimos, you should know me by now. I am not going to be wimped out by a little cave." She walked into the cave and looked around. "Oh yeah. I am scared of this place now, thank you for warning me." Serenity joked as Daimos went to her side.

Daimos fades into the shadows, leaving her there by herself."Serenity....Serenity...." his voice echoes eerily from around her.

Serenity looked around. Every time to where the voice was now coming from. She then stopped and turned her head back to the front, eyes closed. "heh, you so stupid." She opened her eyes and they were glowing white. Serenity held her hands out and light emitted from her palms. It lighting the whole cave, vanquishing all darkness, causing Daimos to be reviled. "No where to hide now." She said smiling.

Daimos vanishes into the shadows again. "You forget, I can create shadows at will..." His voice and laugh echoes throughout the cave. "Catch me if you can!" he taunts as his voice echoes deeper into the cave then fades.

"You wont be able to touch me without my knowing." Serenity yelled out, laughing at Daimos. She turned her head to her side still smiling at his little joke. Two beautiful feathered wings sprouted from her back and her cloak changed colors. Strips of white stained down all through out it. Every three seconds another wave was shot out from her body in every direction, making it impossible for any darkness to even sustain itself in a 5 meter radius.

Daimos fades in and out of the shadows around her as she walks through the cave. He darts at her in a blur of motion. He stops just long enough to tap her on the shoulder then is gone again. "Come on Serenity, you should be able to catch me, I'm not even trying!" his voice echoes.

Serenity smiled and held out her hand. Everything about her reverting back to normal. "Enough jokes. Come on, stop playing around." She chuckled.

A dark dragon's head emerges from the shadows and snaps at her then disappears in a cloud of dark mist.

Serenity looked shocked at the claw and fell backwards. "Daimos!?" She yelled out. "Okay I know that was you, cut it out! Its not that funny!" She added.
