Journy to battle Sin

Lulu took her free hand and laced it with Daimos. "You can tell me anything. I might be able to help you. Do you trust me?"

Daimos looks down at their hands then looks at her in slight surprise. He smiles slightly then nods. "Yes, I trust you. I guess it's better to talk about things than to keep them held in..." He pauses a minute, gathering his thoughts, then continues. "Sometimes I think that...that Serenity would be better off if I wasn't with her. I mean, I think sometimes that I'm just weighing her down, getting in the way."

"This is actually something you need to talk to her about. If you really think you would be better off without her then you should see if that what you actually want. You can make your own decision like you always have, but when you are with someone you should consult with them. It might be better to have that talk then taking matters into your own hands. Do you know what I mean?"

Daimos walks silently in thought then nods. "You're right...I already tried to run off without talking to her directly before, and she almost ended up with Seymour because of it...if I'm going to go anywhere, I think it would be better for me to talk to her first." He says then looks at Lulu and smiles. "Thanks for the help, Lulu, I appreciate it, really."

"Don't mention it." Lulu said letting go of his hand and bringing it to her moogle. The three had been walking for some time now and started to see 'Home.' Rikku pointed to the city and turned to them. "Thats our Home. We also keep the Summoners there so they can't complete their pilgrimage."

Daimos looks intently at the Al Bhed home then realizes what Rikku has said. "Wait, but why do you keep them from completing their pilgrimage? Oh...I get it, because of the Final Aeon. But isn't that the Summoner's job? To bring the Calm and defeat Sin?"

"We think that no one should have to sacrifice their life to Defeat Sin. So we stop them from completing their pilgrimage by keeping them safe there." Rikku said as she turned back to face the trail.

Daimos walks deep in thought for a while. He finally looks back at Rikku. "So you think that by kidnapping them and holding them prisoner you're helping them? Did it ever occur that the Summoners know they have to sacrifice themselves to kill Sin? If they didn't, they wouldn't go through the process of becoming a Summoner."

"We just don't think they should go though with it. Even knowing the consequences you shouldn't have to do this." Rikku said as they continued to walk on. Lulu walked up to Rikku and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Rikku, Haruko knows what she is doing. You know that to. Besides, you saw her in action not to long ago. She can take care of herself just fine, think of how she will be with us helping her." Rikku nodded to Lulu. Lulu took her hand up off Rikku shoulders and it returned back to her Moogle. The three of them all walked on toward 'Home' without saying much at all. The battles they faced were dull and quick. When the three of them final made it to the end of the trail they stood standing at the base of the city. "This is our Home. We keep the summoners in a large cell at the center of the city." Rikku opened the door to the City and motioned for the other two to walk on inside. When inside they found a few Al-Bhed people dead on the floor. When they turned around there was a creature with different elemental heads and parts. The battle took some time but they final defeated it. "Come on, the summoners might not be safe now." Rikku said as she started to run down the halls. Lulu and Daimos both followed her blindly. When they reached the Summoner's Sanctum they found quite a few were actually there. Rikku looked around at the people but couldn't find Haruko. "I don't see here." She exclaimed

"What?!" Daimos exclaims and rushes at her. He grabs her by the neck and lifts her in the air slightly. "What do you mean she's not here?! Are you telling me you lost her?! I thought this was supposed to be a safe place, Rikku! But now you're telling me you can't find her?!" He yells angrily. Daimos realizes what he is doing and immediately lets go of her. She slumps to the ground holding her neck and coughing slightly. Daimos kneels down and places his hand on her shoulder. "Look...Rikku I'm sorry, I was just worried about Haruko...." She slaps his hand away and gets up then walks away. Daimos looks after her then sighs and looks at Lulu. "I guess I messed up, huh? Well, if she didn't like me before...she probably hates me now." He says as he looks back over to where Rikku went.

"You were harsh to her as well. Rikku never said Haruko was here, just that she might know where she is. Its not like she knew she was going to be here in the first place." Lulu said putting a hand on Daimos' shoulder. "I'm sure Haru is alright." Rikku walked over to the two and only starred at Lulu. "Come on, We will just see if Brother knows where she is." Rikku walked past them and the Summoners in the Sanctum started to follow Rikku after she said they were free to go with her.

Daimos starts to say something but stops. He sighs and follows after them silently. He walks up to Rikku. "Rikku listen, I know we haven't exactly been on good terms since we met...and I know what I just did didn't make it any better...but I just wanted to let you know that I'm sorry...can you accept my apology?" He asks. Rikku only glances at him then speeds up. Daimos scratches his head then walks up after her. He grabs her by the shoulder. "Rikku...please, just hear me out." He says. She stops and turns around. She folds her arms and glares at him. "You've got 5 minutes, better start now." She replies stubbornly. "Ok look, I know we haven't exactly been the best of friends, and I know you don't like me...but I was just thinking...that we could at least try to be friends for Haru." He says as he holds out his hand.

Rikku moves her face away from him then only moves her eyes so that they meat hers. Her arms were still folded but soon fell at her sides. "Okay, fine." Rikku turned her head back to him and opened her arms wide, like in a hug. "I am not shaking your hand, thats for sure." She said smiling.

Daimos smiles slightly then hugs her. He steps back then nods and she starts to lead them through the corridors again. He starts to fall behind and walks with Lulu. "Well, I guess everything's okay now...I still kind of think she doesn't like me that much." He shrugs. "Well if anything, we'll at least get along for Haru's sake."

Lulu turned to face Daimos but continued to walk straight on. "Rikku is a cheerful young lady, She will like you for Haru's sake but Al-Bhed are know to hold grudges." Lulu turned her head back to the front and started to walk faster to catch up with the group. "Where are we headed Rikku?"
"We are going to Brother's Airship." Rikku replied.

Daimos looks at her in confusion. "Airship? But we met someone a few days ago that said there hasn't been an airship in the sky for years." He says.

"That is because machina is forbidden. Yeven's teachings say that it was the cause Sin was born and the reason he will keep coming back." Lulu explained to Daimos. "Only the Al-Bhed use machina now. They thing Yeven are the ones who created Sin, to purge this world of them."

"So, let me get this straight...the Al Bhed blame Sin's appearance on this "Yeven" guy, and the followers of Yeven blame it on the Al Bhed? Hm, not much trust going on around here...seems to me like everyone is just looking for someone to blame." He shrugs. "But hey, what do I know? I'm not even from here."

Lulu started to laugh a bit. "Thats the Airship." Rikku said as she opened the hanger. The Summoners and their Guardians all started to walk into the Hanger. "This way." Rikku said taking Daimos and Lulu up toward the cockpit.

Daimos looks up at it in slight surprise. "So that's what we're riding in, huh? Hmm....not bad." He grins as he walks up the bridge leading into the airship. He looks around then follows Rikku to the cockpit. He inspects it and gives a surprised whistle. "Pretty big...where'd you get this thing from?"

"Brother built it himself." Rikku said. "Speaking of him. He is right behind this door. He always sleeps in here." Rikku opened the door and sure enough, there was brother sleeping in the drivers seat.

Daimos grins slightly then continues to look around the cockpit. He walks over to one of the panels and looks at it. There a several screens and buttons. Daimos turns and sees a large sphere near the middle of the cockpit. He walks over to it and inspects it. "So what's this thing?"

"That, is a map of Spira." Rikku said as she walked over to it. She typed in some numbers and Luca appeared in it. "It has everything but my Home on it."

Daimos touches the map with his finger and its surfaces ripples lightly. He steps back then looks at the hologram of Luca. "Impressive, so where exactly are we headed? We don't know where Haru is. And besides that, how do we even know this tin can will fly?"

"What are you calling a tin can?" Brother said in al-Bhed. He got up and smiled at Rikku. She shook her head with him and started to explain what was going on. After sometime He understood what she was getting at and looked at Daimos. "So you want to see Haru again?" He said again in Al-Bhed. "We never saved her, unfortunately." He added.
