Journy to battle Sin

Serenity looks to the rock but notices Rikku has not yet came out of the town. She evades the thunder bolts and makes it to her. "Rikku, are you scared?" Without saying a word Rikku looks out to the planes. A Lightning bolt strikes in front of them and Rikku crouches down a bit, her hands over her head. "Rikku, come on. I promise I will try to help and protect you as much as I can." She nods a bit and grabs Serenity's hand. She walks out and moves Rikku around some lightning. When she gets to Daimos she stops. Dude, what is that?" She said pointing to a Cactus creature.

Daimos shrugs and again takes a calm step to the side of dodge a lightning bolt. "Not sure, doesn't look too special. Come on, let's go before we get struck by lightning standing here." Daimos says then darts off. He stops in the middle of the road and turns back to them. "Come on! The sooner we get out of here..." He gets struck by a bolt of lightning, cutting him off. He falls forward stunned. Smoke slowly rises from his body.

Rikku gave a soft scream and wrapped her arms around Serenity, her face buried in her shoulder. Serenity put one hand around Rikku and summoned her staff in the other. She holds it up in the air and Lightning forms off it in a circular motion. The lightning bolts were drawn to it but when they hit the outside of the field they were sent to the floor around them. "Daimos?!" Serenity finally managed to yell out. Rikku moved around Serenity and ran with her, staying within the field at reason. "Daimos are you okay?" She asked making the field bigger, the rays just missing by Daimos as in moved to let him in. She gave Rikku her staff and sat on the floor next to him. She turned him around and tapped on his face. "Daimos?"

Daimos groans slightly and nods. "Next time I decide to run off in this place, do me a favor....stop me." He grumbles and smiles slightly. He slowly sits up and rubs his head. He feels that his hair is standing on end then he brushes it down back in place. He unsteadily stands up then regains his balance. "It's official...I now hate lightning...and this place."

Serenity laughed and helped him up. "When we get to that trail it will be a tad easier. The lightning rods will attract most of the lightning. First we have to get there though." She took the staff back from Rikku and the three of them started to walk down to one of the towers.

They keep walking until they get to a tower with a wide canopy. "We can stop over there, it looks like suitable shelter from the lightning...or we could keep going. I think there's an inn up there somewhere." He suggests.

"We can keep going." Rikku said, standing as close as she could to Serenity. "We will only stop long enough at the inn to get some items." Serenity added. The three of them again walked on and on. A few creatures morphed out and attacked them, nothing the three couldn't handle though.

Daimos shrugs then sighs and they continue on their way. The get to a small hill and walk over it. He stops briefly and sees the inn. He looks back at the and gestures for them to keep going and they walk into the inn. He looks around then walks over to the bookshelf and looks at the books. Many of them in the strange language he has been hearing lately. He takes one and looks at it, skimming through the pages. He shakes his head and gives up trying to decipher it then puts it back on the shelf. "Well, I supposed we can stay here for a while. One of you will have to handle the talking though, I don't speak this language."

A woman was standing behind the desk looking at the three of them. "You here for a place to stay, or something else?" Serenity looked at her and gave a warm smile. "No, and yes to the second. Do you have any healing items?" The woman nodded and showed them what she had. Serenity started to look at them and bought the things she thought they would need. "Thank you, ma'am." The woman said as Serenity walked to a chair. On the floor she found another Primer and picked it up. She walked to a chair next to Rikku who was still a tad petrified by all the lightning.

Daimos walks over to them and stands next to Serenity. He kneels down and looks at the book. "So what exactly is Al Bhed? Does this book have anything to do with it? Actually, where's the other one? I'll just take a look at that one." He says. She hands him the book then he stands up and walks off. He leans against a wall and starts reading the primer.

Serenity laughs to see Daimos struggling. "The book makes no since. I only learned it with Rikku's teachings. Then the books makes since. You would need the first primer to get the rest. once that is taught then you can learn from the books."

Daimos glances up at her from the book then looks down at it again. "Maybe so...but I think I'm starting to get at least a basic feel of what it is. It'll probably be a while before I can fully speak it...but at least I'll know a little of what you two are talking about." He says indirectly as he continues to read the book.

Serenity smiled to him. "E mova oui" She said chuckling a bit. "Tyemoc ec tuu drehg heatat. Ra fell havan ihdanstyhd dre Ym-Bhat" Rikku added, calming down a bit from her shock.

Daimos glances up from the book at them then looks back down again. "I love you too, Serenity." He says without looking up from the book. "It seems I got more than a little from this book." He grins slightly and kept reading.

Serenity laughed and stood up. She walked to the book and pointed to the words he took out from the book. "Your skilled all right. It tells you minor things in here like that. For things Riku said you have to read the slips that come in the Al-Bhed to the left of it. Rikku is teaching me without having to learn what that all means."

Daimos closes the book and folds his arms. "Thanks alot, and here I thought I'd actually be able to learn something without being criticized...well it's no big deal, I guess, I'll just stick to English." He hands the book back to her and walks outside.

Serenity grabs Daimos' hand just as he is about to leave. "Ugh, come on. I will teach you. Just somewhere quieter." Serenity walked to the desk and paid for a room. She grabbed Daimos as he tried to leave again and pulled him to her. The woman handed her the key and the both of them walked up the stairs to a room. Serenity put the key in the keyhole and unlocked it. She opened the door and brought Daimos inside of it, closing the door behind her. By then Daimos found himself sitting on the bed, Serenity sitting neck to him. "You really want to learn this? Here I will teach you what I know."

Daimos nods slightly. "It would be nice...considering the fact that I've been looking after you since we got here. Besides..." He looks at the door then back at Serenity. "I'm pretty sure Rikku's been talking about me without me knowing. So I want to know how to speak it so I know what she's saying about me. I can't say I trust the kid too much." He says then sits back on his elbows and looks at the ceiling. He sits forward again then looks at Serenity. "So, where do we start?"

"She is nice. Not once had she talked about you in a horrified way." Serenity opens the book and starts to show Daimos a tad in the Al-Bhed sections. The teaching went on for about an hour and forty minutes.

Daimos folds his arms and nods thoughtfully. "Ok, I think I have it now...let me see if I can say something in Al Bhed..." He sits in thought. "Zi'hi kyurk dy wuknd Mur. Huknd ryz zi'hi ur dni Dnortih Bceurm nieturk dy Lesecerue Dilbci...is that right?"

"That was close enough, baby." Serenity said as she kissed Daimos' lips passionately, her tongue moving across his lips. She moves her hand behind his neck and moves closer to him, causing them both to fall flat on the bed.

Daimos grins slightly. "So that's the prize I get for getting it right, hm? Well maybe I should keep trying." He grins and kisses her again. He puts arm around around her waist and holds her closer to him. Their tongues brush together as they lay kissing. Rikku comes into the room looking for Serenity. Daimos immediately moves away and sits up. He stands up and clears his throat then looks away.

Serenity moves to the door and opens it for Rikku. "Sorry its taking so long. Al-Bhed is actually harder to teach then I thought." Serenity took the remaining money they had and gave it to Rikku. Here, get yourself a room and we will be able to leave tomorrow. I promise, okay?" Rikku smiled at Serenity and nodded. "Okay, just don't leave without me." Serenity nodded and agreed. Riku walked down the stairs and Serenity closed and locked the door again. "Where were we?" She asked moving onto of Daimos again. She smiled and moved to his neck, kissing it a few times.

Daimos grins and kisses her deeply, his tongue sliding over hers. He holds her by her waist and leans against the wall. He pulls away slightly and grins. "Well, I guess I got two good things out of this little visit...I'm learning Al Bhed and now I'm finally used to that cold breath of yours." He grins again then kisses her again, hands holding onto her waist.

Serenity moves onto Daimos and moves him onto the bed. She kisses him on his lips and starts to remove his shirt again. She moved her hands behind his head and kissed his lips more.
