Journy to battle Sin

Daimos folds his arms in thought. "Well I suppose...that only a few days would be good for now? How much would that cost?" He asks as he looks back at her. "Well see, here's the thing. We don't usually get people who stay longer than a day, and even then it's during Blitzball season...whatcha got planned anyway, stranger? Why're you here?" She asks and looks at him intently. "I am a Guardian, I was sent to make the reservations." Daimos explains. "That so? Well where's your summoner? And what city you coming from?" She asks.

After sever back and forth statements Serenity walked out in her garments and holding a staff. "Now I look like a High-Summoner." She said to herself. Serenity made her way through the crowd and entered the Inn. "There you are." Serenity said. Daimos turned to look at her, with her new garments and Staff Daimos thought it was just some random person of this town, till he had a closer look.

"Oh, because you can't. Okay." serenity walked to the desk and starred at the woman on the other side of it. So then you are a High-Summoner then, huh?" The woman asked. "Yes, I am. I would like to stay her for a few days." The woman looked at her and stood up. "Why would you want to stay here? Shouldn't you be bringing the Calm, getting your Final Aeon?" Serenity moved away from the desk a bit. "Yeah, don't worry. I will bring the Calm, but first you can give s a room." The woman looked at Serenity for a bit and gripped a key. "There you go. Just be sure you out of here by tomorrow." The woman said going into the back. "Not so hard." serenity said waving the key in Daimos' face. She gripped it and started to head up the stairs.

Daimos rolls his eyes then shakes his head. "Since when was it decided that you were the High Summoner anyway..." He grumbles then follows after her. They get to the room and she opens the door. They walk in a look around the room. It's medium sized and decently furnished. Daimos draws back his hood and scratches his head while looking around. "Well I guess it's not that bad...beggars can't be choosers, I guess."

"People just called me High, so I guess I should stick with it." Serenity removed her mage hat and set it on a chair next to the door. "The room is alright. Doesn't seem to rugged." Serenity said sitting down on one of the two small double beds.

Daimos frowns up slightly and scoffs. "Yeah, it's a real lover's den!" He says sarcastically then takes his cloak off and hangs it over another chair. He flops down on the other bed and lays with one leg hanging over the side of the bed and his hands laced behind his head.

"Well," Serenity said smiling to him. "Do you like my new look?" She stood up and turned so her back could face him, her head over her shoulder looking down at him. She turned back to the front, standing straight. Her staff the same size as she was.

Daimos opens one eye and looks at her then closes it again. "It's alright, I suppose...I'll have to get used to seeing you looking the part of something you're not...but in the mean time it's not half bad." He says and grins with his eyes still closed.

"I can actually do what i am supposed to do, therefor I am not totally lying." Serenity leaned to Daimos and kissed his cheek. She moved to her bed and took her boots off. She laid of the bed, her fingers laced over her belly. She starred up at the ceiling and started to think of the life they were living.

"Well, summoning is my strong point so I will play that. You are more of a physical guy so you will be my guardian. Seems a little weird for a chick to be your guardian anyway. That is if your like all the macho men who thinks men are stronger then woman."

Daimos grins and sits up on one elbow and looks at her. "Well in our particular case, I am stronger than you...or do I have to bring up the incident on how we got here?" He smirks then lays back down. "Besides, me being able to summon will add a little bit of surprise to our battles, don't you think?"

"I never said I was stronger then you. I just said, I think my summoning skills would exceed yours. People have been calling me a summoner anyway. Would be kind of hard to say you are really a summoner to. While I was in the shop I came across a book. It says there are many Summoners who are sent on this vary pilgrimage. Only the strong will get the final Aeon, but then when they fight sin that aeon would kill them. Gory isn't it?" Serenity said turning her head to his. "What do you think, should we go on pretending to be High-Summoner and Guardian?"

Daimos lays in thought. "Well...I suppose if it means we'll be able to get extra help to kill Sin...then I guess we could. I don't really like that part about being killed by the Final Aeon...do you?" He asks the continues without waiting for her answer. "And besides that, we don't know what will happen if we actually do kill Sin...for all we know we could end up being destroyed right along with it."

"Thats why I wont use that Aeon, the hell with it." Serenity said laughing. A bang was heard on the wall shortly after, then a voice called out to them, "Crid dra ramm ib! Knock it off in there." Serenity looked to the wall and turned, she kicked it. "Tnub tayt!" She said back to her.

Daimos looks at her in slight surprise. "What was that all about?"

"I uno. Just some random bitch, I presume." latter a knock was heard on the door. "Uh, I'll get it!" Serenity said sitting up the walked to the door. She opened it and there a woman stood, about her size. She was just about to punch her in the face when she looked at her more closely. "Your lucky your a summoner, I would have knocked you out till Sin destroyed this world." Serenity looked down at the side of the door then starred back at the girl. "Is that so?" The woman only rolled her eyes and left to her room. A pound was heard on the wall when Serenity closed her door. "Alright then." Serenity said walking back to the bed. She sat down on it and smiled to Daimos. "Luv you." She said her lips still stuck on the "ou" part.

Daimos grins and sits up on his elbows. He leans forward and kisses her. "You could have just asked me to take care of it, I would have liked to, you know."

"She said she would have punched me, and if you went and got it you would have started an incident. we might have had to leave. So, neah!" Serenity said laughing. She moves and lays down on the bed, her hands again laced over her stomach.

Daimos grins and lays back down with his hands laced behind his head. "And that would be a bad thing? I've been looking for a fight lately...maybe that would've been it." He says then laughs slightly and closes his eyes.

"Would you always want to fight after you get close to me like you did?" Serenity asked laughing at bit. "Alright then. We will sleep here for some time, then go and find some arena or something. What do you say?"

"No, I've always been the type to fight just because I felt like it...I just actually have a reason now." He smiles then starts to drift off to sleep.

"Good luck with that." Serenity said, drifting off into a light sleep as well. When Daimos was fast, and deeply, asleep, Serenity woke up. She looked around and to the clock, seeing it was around the middle of the night. "Damn, why can't I sleep?" She asked herself. Shortly after Serenity started to hear a few noises from the room that one girl was from. As serenity moved closer to the wall she heard a small crash. "What is she doing?" As if answering her question there was a muffled noise like someone was covering her mouth. Serenity immediately got up and ran out her door, she crashed into the other room and found a few people who were tying her up. "What are you doing to her?" She asked. They said something back to her in Al Bhed but she made out one word. "Death." Serenity streached their hands out to the men and a burst of fire shot out at them. As they fell to the floor she froze them in place giving her enough time to get the Girl away from them. They both ran down the stairs and out the door, forgetting about Daimos.

A little while after sunrise, Daimos slowly wakes up. He sits up grumbling sleepily and rubbing his eyes. "Hey Serenity, close the blinds a little, that light is way too bright..." He mumbles. When there is no answer or no change, he opens his eyes fully and sees see isn't there. "Hm? Serenity? Huh, she must have went to get breakfast." He shrugs then stands up. He stretches then walks out of the room. He looks to his left and sees the door to the room next door is open and off its hinges. He runs over quickly and looks in the room. He sees the two men frozen on the floor then looks around. He leaves the room and quickly runs down to the front counter. He rings the bell frantically. "Hey, hey, hey! What's the problem? Why are you ringing the bell like that? It's not a toy, you know!" The woman says as she comes from the back room and sees Daimos. "Oh, it's you...well what d'ya want? You checking out?" She asks. Daimos shakes his head. "No, not yet. Did you see the girl I cam here with...the Summoner? Did she leave early this morning?" He asks. The woman stands in thought. "Oh, yeah! She can through here at around midnight, looked like she was in a hurry! Had someone with her, too...another girl. You two aren't causing trouble in my place, are you?" She asks sternly and narrows her eyes at him. Daimos shakes his head again. "No, but did you happen to see which way they went?" He asks. The woman only points then leaves the room again. Daimos looks in the direction she pointed. "Serenity...what the hell are you doing?" He whispers then runs off in the direction the woman pointed.
